CSD金刚石磨料的研制

摘    要:用于制造树脂结合剂磨具的金刚石磨料,传统产品为单晶颗粒,大多数(70%以上)为针片状,表面光滑,与结合剂结合不牢,磨削过程中过早脱落,使用效果不理想。本文目的就是为了解决这一问题。本项目以粉状石墨为原料,以铁基合金粉末为触媒,对原料的成份和配比、合成块的组装结构、合成工艺参数及调控方式,进行了系统的试验研究,在六面顶压机上,研制出了一种金刚石磨料新产品——CSD(Crumb Structure Diamond)磨料。合成压力和电功率与合成单晶金刚石的工艺参数基本相同,而合成时间较短,不超过5min,石墨转化率达到80%左右。得到的新产品不是针片状单晶颗粒,而是团粒结构的颗粒,颗粒形状为等积形,表面粗糙,凹凸不平。经制作成砂轮使用证明,金刚石与结合剂结合牢固,在磨削过程中呈微刃破碎,自锐性好,磨削锋利,寿命比传统产品成倍提高。CSD磨料可作为RVD金刚石磨料的更新换代产品使用。

Abstract:Diamond grits used for making resin bonded abrasive wheels are traditionally single crystal in acicular shape and with smooth surface for the majority, so they can' t be firmly bonded with resin bond and are easy to fall off. The object of this paper is to find a solution to this problem. A new variaty of diamond,CSD ( Crumb Structure Diamond) ,is developed with powder graphite and iron-based powder catalyst by adopting a proper composite set and synthetic technique within cubic press. The synthesis time is 3-5 min, the gauge pressure is 95 - 105, the power is 56 - 60. The graphite conversion rate comes up to 80%. This new product is crumb structure instead of platy monocrystal. They have equi-axed shape and rough surface. It has been proved that the abrasive wheels made with CSD diamond have high bondability, self-sharpening characteristics and long life-span. CSD can replace RVD in the future.
