| Abstract: | The adaptive cancellation of phase jitter Using finite impulse response (FIR) and infinite impulse response (IIR) structures in 16. 8kbit/s data communication systems is studied in this paper. The IIR structure becomes unstable during adaptation for severe phase jitter. The FIR, which is stable and easy for implementation, can be used for cancellation of severe phase jitter and tracking sinuosidal jitter present at more than one frequency. |
