| Abstract: | The important position of the gold jewellery industry in the world economy was explained with the amount of gold used forjewellery fabrication in total gold demand and with the rapid increase of this amount.The standard of fineness,the types,the composition,and the main properties of gold alloys for jewellery were introduced.The new developments,for example,gold alloy powder,electroforming,and new jewIellery alloy with high gold content-Gold990 were introduced.The market,design and some other issues about gold jewellery were discussed. |
