| Abstract: | Kinetic model of electrophoretic deposition for SiC(W)-TZP composites in Al_2O_3 non aqueous sol slurry was established. The imaginary colloid group of SiC whisker and TZP powder in the slurry and new method of measuring zeta-potential were suggested. The experimental results illustrated the good agreement with the theoritical prediction. The uniform SiC(W)-TZP composites articles formed by electrophoretic deposition have been prepared. |
