| Abstract: | The impact toughness of diamond was measured on the Impact Toughness Instrument. The forces on diamond grits during impact process were analyzed according to the loading mode. The forces on the grits were determined by mechanics calculations. The effects of impact parameters on impact forces of diamond grits were discussed. |
