| Abstract: | Quartz glass fiber is a high-tech product with excellent electrical,thermal and mechanical properties and has found wide applications in aerospace,military,semi-conductor,high temperature insulation and filtration sectors.This paper elaborates the properties and uses of quartz glass fiber as well as its developments at home and abroad,and proposes that at present China should develop energetically the production technology and product variety of quartz glass fiber to promote the growth of aerospace, military and semi-conductor industries. |
