Abstract: | The American Psychological Association's Distinguished Contribution for Applications in Psychology Award was given this year for the fourth time. This award is presented to a person who has engaged in a program of research that is both systematic and applied in character. The recipient is presented with a check for $1,000 and an engrossed citation of their contributions. This year's award was won by Fred S. Keller. The award was presented by Richard F. Thompson, Chair of the Committee on Scientific Awards. Other members of the committee are Dorothea Hurvich, Walter Mischel, Lorrin A. Riggs, Janet T. Spence, and Elaine Walster.
