Experimental research of high‐temperature regenerative heat transfer

Abstract:A small‐scale high‐temperature air combustion experimental system was set up. The effects of the switching period on the heat transfer characteristics of a regenerator were discussed, and an optimal switching period was suggested. The temperature distribution in the combustion chamber was analyzed and the emission of NOX and CO with the operational parameters was summarized.
