Experimental research of high‐temperature regenerative heat transfer

A small‐scale high‐temperature air combustion experimental system was set up. The effects of the switching period on the heat transfer characteristics of a regenerator were discussed, and an optimal switching period was suggested. The temperature distribution in the combustion chamber was analyzed and the emission of NO_X and CO with the operational parameters was summarized.
