Abstract:The indirect determination of trace chlorine in organosilicon cyclic compounds was carried out by decomposing the organosilicon cyclic compounds with CH3ONa-CH3OH solution, precipitating the chlorine ion in the solution with silver nitrate, and determining the trace chlorine by atomic absorption spectrometry. This determination method was rapid, convenient, high sensitivity and good reproducibility.When the chlorine content was 5 ppm, the recovery > 90%, the maximum relative standard deviation < 10%. The method is also available for the determination of trace chlorine in other organic compounds.
