Research on method of surface modeling based on computation geometry

CAD/CAM software such as Pro/Engineer and UG NX has become an important tool in the manufacturing industry,used by product design and manufacturing engineers. These CAD/CAM softwares must be capable surface modeling features,it is a necessary prerequisite for three-dimensional design products,Therefore surface modeling plays an important role in the field of computer aided geometric design and computer graphics,and the computational geometry is the right mathematical methods study on surface modeling. The surface modeling and computation geometry method are introduced in the first. Then,the processes of mathematical modeling for the parameter curve based on computation geometry method are described. These approaches can offer some theory guidance to realize curved surface for the CAD/CAM system.
