基于人眼视觉特性的的嵌入式零树图像编码改进算法

摘    要:根据人眼对中间频率较为敏感这一特性,对小波子带系数进行掩膜加权,加权后发现中间子带的小波系数变大,在对其进行压缩编码时则需要更多的比特数。针对这一问题,本文提出了一种改进的EZW算法对加权后的小波系数进行编码。实验结果表明,与经典EZW算法相比,重构图像的客观评价指标PSNR和重构图像的主观评价指标HVSNR都有不同程度的提高具有更好的视觉效果

Abstract:According to human visual characteristics,the wavelet sub -bands are mask weighted. It is found that in the center of the wavelet coefficients become bigger, Using classical EZW algorithm on the coding, it can improve the subjective image quality, but reduces thecompression ratio and coding efficiency.A new improved algorithm based on EZW is proposed to solve this problem. experimentl test proves better than conventional EZW algorithm both in PSNR and HVSNR and subject quality of the reconstructed image.
