围绕新农村建设抓好湖北防汛抗旱工作

社会主义新农村建设的基本内涵对防汛抗旱工作提出了全新的要求,湖北省的防汛抗旱能力在防洪工程现状、农业和农村抗灾组织能力、水生态和水环境、水利非工程措施四个方面与新农村建设的要求不相适应。今后湖北省防汛抗旱工作将围绕新农村建设,努力营造防洪保安、抗旱用水、减灾服务、信息化支撑“四个环境”,全面提高防汛抗旱能力。

Centering on flood control and drought relief for new countryside construction in Hubei

The basic content of new socialist countryside construction makes a complete new requirement for flood control and drought relief in Hubei Province. The present condition of flood control capacity and structures, organization of disaster relief in rural areas, ecosystem and water environment and non-structural measures cannot adapt to the new countryside construction. It is suggested to improve capacity of flood security, drought relief, service of disaster-relief and information support.
