城市资源包括城市的物质资源、文化资源、人力资源。城市资源种类复杂、数量庞大。应用现代信息技术对城市资源实施管理,是城市信息化管理的重要内容。城市资源管理信息系统（简称URMIS）是城市资源信息化管理的工具,该系统以现代信息技术为基础,以城市资源数据处理为内容,以提高城市资源利用效率为目的,为城市政府、企事业单位和城市居民提供决策、咨询和管理服务。

Study on urban resource management information system and its applications

City resources, including the city＇s material resources, cuhural resources and human resources, are with various types and a huge data sets. It is an important part of the urban information management for the application of modern IT to manage urban resources. Urban resource management information system （URMIS） is an information processing tool for city resources management. The system is based on modern information technology and processing urban resources data. The aim of URMIS is to improve efficiency of using urban resource, so as to provide the decision-making, consulting and management services for city governments, enterprises and urban residents.
