| Abstract: | Hilly-area architecture is a synthetic research.To achieve the newhilly-area architecture concepts,much work has been done to discourse the unity of human beings and nature,the interrelationship between ecology and building and the harmonious relationship between building and hill topography.This article reviews the history of folk residences in hilly areas of China to expose the principles of hilly-area architecture. |
