| Abstract: | The effects of intake swirl, combustiou chamber shape, compression ratio, iujection rate as well as the diameter and length of nozzle hole on diesel engine emission are presented. Experimental investigation is carried out on a medium duty turbocharged diesel engine with the aim of acquiring the optimum parameters to meet the US-EPA 1991 (Enviromental Protection Agency) diesel emission standard. |
