Application of Induction Heating Technology in Baosteel Cold Rolling Plant

The control principle and hardware circuit of the induction heating equipment used in a newly built CGL line of Baosteel Cold Rolling Plant are introduced.Applications of series resonance technology in induction heating electric control technology are analyzed in detail.Comparisons of induction heating systems are made for alloying furnaces on No.2 CGL line,zinc pots on No.3 CGL line and induction heaters on continuous annealing lines,from electric hardware equipment,main circuit structure,control principle,etc.Major differences between these equipments have been analyzed.In combination with the actual experience accumulated in years from the field,failures,problems and improvement measures met or taken in the real application process of the induction heating technology are analyzed and summarized.
