Abstract:Acid residue in the coke gas oil was treated using neutralizer to produce residue and inorganic salt by neutralization. The effects of neutralizer amount, reaction temperature and react time on the yield and acid value of residue were examined through orthogonal experiment. The best operation conditions were ob- tained by mathematical methods as follows: neutralizer amount 13.15%, the reaction temperature 80 ℃, reaction time 15 minutes. Under the best conditions, the yield of residue was 78.23%, and the acid value was 7 mgKOH/g. The residue contains asphaltenes 33.17%, saturated hydrocarbons 6.16%, aromatic hydrocar- bons 31.69%, gelatine 23.49% ,and the recovery is 94.51%. The recovery of inorganic salt reach 80.22% using the secondary -crystallization and the inorganic salt purity is 99.46%.
