Shell gasification key equipment pressure vessel includes gasifier(including quench pipe),transfer duct,gas reverse chamber,syngas cooler and other internals.Because of excess weight and excess dimensions,these parts can only be assembled and welded in the air after finishing internal installation.So precise of these key equipments as well as pre-assembly and measuring is very necessary and important.This paper has expounded pre-assembly and matters to be attentioned of the pressure vessels of shell gasification key equipments per the actual fabrication experiences.Quality and schedule of group welding on site has been improved through pre-assembly.
