| 摘 要： | 图书馆是广大群众,特别是科技工作者学习、生活必不可少的场所。在经济建设和社会主义精神文明建设中具有不可替代的作用。随着“科教兴国”战略的实施,图书馆在加强科普教育、扫除“科盲”、推进“知识工程”等领域将发挥新的作用。文中论述了图书馆实现上述功能的意义,并提出了实现这些功能的有效途径。
