PVD涂层刀具的切削性能研究

摘    要:涂层是延长刀具使用寿命的重要工艺方法之一。采用磁控溅射离子镀PVD涂层工艺,对SNUM类中A、V和H断屑槽形硬质合金刀片进行涂层。通过涂层刀片与未涂层刀片的切削力等项试验比较,PVD涂层硬质合金刀具的刀-屑接触长度明显缩短,切削力下降,刀具耐用性能提高1-4倍,改变涂层刀具的切削速度,其断屑范围并滑有明显变化。

Abstract:The coating is now recognized as one of the key technologies to lengthen tool life. In this paper, using the coating technology of plasma enhanced magnetron sputter ion plating make the SNUM carbide tools coat. By the experiments of PVD- coated comparing with uncoated, it is found that PVD coated carbide make the tool- chip contact Length notably shorten, the cutting force decrease, the tool life increase by a factor 1 ~ 4. In addition,the cutting speed was apparently raised, but the range of chip brinking had no clearly change.
