| Abstract: | The variable structure control of linear systems with delays in control is studied in this paper. It is shown that the conventional switching function for variable structure systems with delays neither in states nor in control is substituted by switching functional in a suitable functional space for systems with delays in control. The design method for the switching functional which leads to stable sliding modes is presented if the system is absolutely controllable. The variable structure controller is obtained by use of the concept of approaching law. |
