摘    要:以不同的过氧化物引发剂分别与硫酸亚铁组成氧化还原引发体系,引发苯乙烯的乳液聚合,研究反应温度和还原剂用量等对聚合的影响。采用气相色谱、三检测体积排除色谱、动态光散射对单体转化率、聚苯乙烯的相对分子质量及其分布和乳胶粒径进行了分析。结果表明:升高温度或增加还原剂用量均会使聚合物的相对分子质量增大,聚合反应速率加快,与常规自由基聚合中温度对聚合物相对分子质量的影响不同。动态光散射分析研究证明,升高温度和增加还原剂用量均使乳胶颗粒数增加,从而使聚合反应速率和聚合物相对分子质量同时升高。

Abstract:The redox initiation systems composed of different peroxide initiators and ferrous sulfate were used to initiate the emulsion polymerization of styrene.The effects of polymerization temperature and reducing agent dosage on the polymerization were investigated.Gas chromatography,three-detection volume exclusion chromatography and dynamic light scattering(DLS)were used to analyze monomer conversion,relative molecular mass and molecular mass distribution of the obtained polymer as well as the particle size of the latex.The results show that the increase of the temperature or the amount of reductant will result in the increase of the relative molecular mass of the polymers and the polymerization rate,which is quite different from the effects of temperature on the relative molecular mass of the polymer in conventional free-radical polymerization.It is confirmed by DLS analysis that the number of latex particles is increased by improving temperature or the amount of reducing agent,therefore the polymerization rate and the relative molecular mass of the polymers are improved.
