Development of 44 dtex/144 f ultra-fine denier bright polyester FDY

The experiment and production of 44 dtex/144 f ultra-fine denier bright polyester fully-drawn yarn(ultra-fine denier polyester FDY for short)were carried out by melt direct spinning process of bright polyester FDY.The effects of spinning temperature,height of windless zone,collection position and drawing process on the production of ultra-fine denier polyester FDY were discussed.Hence,the production process parameters were decided.The results showed that the produced ultra-fine denier polyester FDY had high quality with a breaking strength of 4.53 cN/dtex,elongation at break of 34.4%,yarn unevenness variation coefficient of 0.95%,boiling water shrinkage of 6.3%,network number of 35 per meter and oil content of 1.15%when the process conditions were as follows:spinneret hole of 0.12 mm in diameter and 0.4 mm in depth,spinneret holes arrangement in concentric circle,melt conveying temperature 281.5-283.5℃,spinning temperature about 291℃,bottom heater temperature 295-305℃,windless zone height 35.5-55.5 mm,cross air blow pressure 26-32 Pa,relative humidity 22%-24%,height of collection position from spinneret 750-850 mm,draw ratio 1.40-1.70.
