Abstract:A process flow simulation method used for high density polyethylene(HDPE)industrial production was proposed with relative molecular mass distribution as index and related with melt flow rate(MFR).A framework model of HDPE process based on strict process mechanism was established by process simulation software Aspen Plus Polymers on the basis of the polymerization process in Innovene S HDPE plant,which was combined with industrial operation parameters and laboratory data to calculate the relative molecular mass,relative molecular mass distribution index of polymer and establish the MFR model of HDPE by fitting Table Curve.The hydrogen flow is obtained between 0.20 and 0.45 kg/h when the ethylene concentration is constant by the sensitivity analysis on relative molecular mass and MFR as a function of hydrogen concentration.The HDPE PN049-030-122 produced as tube specialty is excellent whose relative molecular mass distribution is biomodal.
