This paper introduces the application of self-tuning regulator to the level controlof acetic acid distillatory. The self-tuning regulator is able to compensate for the timedelay and disturbances to a certain extent that the anti-interference effect of thesystem is enhanced and the regulating quality of the system is improved. Since theon-line calculating work is not so much and the implementation is relatively simple, therefore it is a promising regulator.
