The paper enumerates the intensive type management pattern of condition - based maintenance adopted in 600 MW generating units of Datang Twoketuo Power Plant. After the trial operation of new unit, if the over all performance of unit is comparatively better,for the existing local defects,local minor repair is employed in stead of complete major overhaul.This paper briefs the status of timely eliminating condensate pump fault throngh fault diagnosis,earlier diaqnosing the low pressure moving vane damage. Since this kind of management pattern was employed, obvious economic benefit has been obtained, the fault rate has dropped by over 80%,as compared with that of the same type units.
