| Abstract: | In this paper, a new type of conical envelope worm indexing cam mechanism with rolling teeth is proposed. The indexing plate and indexing cam gear surfaces formulas are derived. The contact tracks of gear surfaces are decided based on the medium conjugate engagement theory. The authors design the rolling teeth's structure of the conical envelope worm indexing cam mechanism. |
