| 摘 要： | 地理信息系统（ＧＩＳ）是与人类的生存、发展进步密切相关的一门信息科学和技术，目前已应用于诸多领域。文章介绍了ＧＩＳ的基本特点，讨论了一新的ＧＩＳ软件－ＳｍａｌｌｗｏｒｌｄＧＩＳ（ＳＷＧ）的特征、系统结构及其在供配电系统的应用。
