| Abstract: | The paper makes a discussion on the lightning protection and grounding design for wind generating sets and box-type transformer based on the characteristics of high mountain wind farm in subtropical humid monsoon cli- mate area, such as low temperatures in winter, small solar radiation, great air humidity, long frost period, severe freez- ing rain disaster and many thunderstorm days, which can be well referenced by similar wind farm projects. |
