Exploration On the Design of the Tensioned Membrane Architecture

Tensioned membrane structure is essentially different from the traditional structure,and which results in its particularity in form the design techniques of architectural modeling and space.From the architect＇s point of view, this paper outlines the course of development of the tensioned membrane buildings and architectural advantages,and then it introduces the concepts and principles of the tensioned membrane structures, and also explores on the space design methods of tensioned membrane architecture.
