| Abstract: | The gear steel 8620 H has been developed by using EBT.EAF+LF+ladle wire feeding technology. The phase transformation critical, austenite continuous cooling transformation curve, gain-growth tendency and mechanical properties at various quenching temperature of the steel have been measured. The quality indexes of 8620H steel produced by this process have reached the requirement of AISI SAE standards. |
