Abstract:The novel technology of natural draft cooling towers with flue gas injection featuring the plume discharge of desulfurized wet flue gas due to the large thermal momentum of hot wet air in the cooling tower for the fossil-fueled power generation units is introduced. With practical engineering project examples, the design principles for cooling towers with this technology are described.
