| Abstract: | A case of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) terminating in acute megakaryoblastic leukemia (AMKL) is here presented. Megakaryoblasts were identified by the presence of platelet peroxidase in the bone marrow as well as in pleural effusion and ascites. The clinical course, morphology and immunologic studies of the blast cells are described in this report. |
