| Abstract: | This paper first reviews the empirical studies on second language incidental vocabulary acquisition both at home and abroad, focusing on the research content and result. These studies include listening, speaking, reading, writing and other aspects. The findings obtained from the empirical studies reviewed in this paper provide useful insights to second language vocabulary teaching. |
