| Abstract: | Trialkoxysilane functionalized bis and trismaleimide based systems have been synthesized and used for coating a bisphenol-A polycarbonate substrate by the sol-gel method. The abrasion resistance of the substrate is improved by the optically clear materials following thermal curing of the coating. |
