| Abstract: | Wastewater characteristics, its composition and basic principles of effluent treatment in pulp and paper mills are presented in this article. Furthermore, in order to provide a good reference for mills to choose the proper treatment methods and technologies, several typical ones are discussed in details and also recommended. |
