Abstract: | The results of the use of a wire-in-tube corona reactor, energized by short voltage spikes, to decompose small concentrations of hydrogen sulfide contained in hydrogen are presented. Parameters investigated include the reactor geometry, hydrogen sulfide concentration, corona power, and the nature of the product. Electronic-molecular interactions are considered, and a mathematical model is formulated that accurately predicts experimental results |
