基于模块化多电平变换器的储能系统综述

摘    要:储能系统是当前和未来新能源电力系统中的关键组成部分,储能系统的引入促进了电网结构的优化,实现了新能源的友好接入和协调控制。模块化多电平换流器(Modular multilevel converter,MMC)作为多电平换流器家族中的一员,在中高压大功率场合有着广泛的应用。对基于模块化多电平变换器的储能系统的研究情况进行归纳和总结。首先简要介绍了MMC的拓扑结构和技术特点,其次对各种储能技术的概况进行总结。然后着重讨论了储能单元接入MMC的方式和带有储能装置的MMC的调制策略、子模块电容电压均衡、主电路参数设计、控制方面等关键技术的研究进展情况。最后对基于模块化多电平变换器的储能系统研究的重点问题提出了建议。

Abstract:Energy storage (ES) system is a key component in new energy power system at present and in the future, application of energy storage system will promote the optimization of the grid structure and achieve friendly access and coordination control of new energy. The modular multilevel converter (MMC) is a member of multilevel converter family, and has been widely applied in the medium- or high-voltage high power applications. Progress of energy storage system based on MMC is concluded. Firstly, the operation principles and the technical characteristics of MMC are introduced briefly; secondly, the development of different energy storage technology is introduced. Then the energy storage integrating methods and the key technologies of MMC-ES such as modulation strategy, sub-model capacitor voltage balancing, main circuit parameter design and control strategy are summarized and analyzed. Finally, suggestions for key issues of MMC-ES are proposed.
