| Abstract: | Glass substrate is an important element used for making optical disk.In thispaper,the principle and method of the toughening of glass substrate by ion exchan-ge are described.The experimental results of toughening of Na-Ca-Si-O glass andthe primary property parameters of toughened glass substrate for optical disk of13.34cm(5.25 inch)diameter are given. |
