| 摘 要： | 多媒体技术是计算机领域中的一个极其重要的研究方向，而同步控制是每一个多媒体系统必须考虑的因素。基于WWW上存在的多媒体同步控制问题，实例化分析了W3C制定的SMIL语言的功能目标，介绍了目前国际上针对SMIL的实现技术研究情况，描述了作者定义的基于WWW的同步多媒体点播系统SMOD的模型层次，并指出了SMIL的发展在WWW上的重要意义。

| Abstract: | Multimedia technology is a very important direction in computer research area, the synchronizing control is a factor that must be considered in every multimedia system. Based on the question of multimedia's synchronizing control on WWW, the goal of SMIL formulated by W3C is analysed in examples, the research status of SMIL's implementation in the world is introduced, and the model of SMOD system which is defined by the authors is described. Finally, the important value of SMIL's development on WWW is summarized. |
