高等学校是培养高素质人才的摇篮，体育教育是人才素质教育的重要组成部分。在实施素质教育的今天，体育教育要从被动教学观向主动教学观转变，使高校体育教育真正形成以教师为主导，以学生为主体的现代教育模式，与素质教育全面接轨，从而达到树立“健康第一”的理念，培养出新世纪身心健康的对社会主义有用的人才。

Study on Integrating the Quality-oriented Education into the Physical Education

College is the place for training high-qualified intellectuals, in which physical education plays an important role. Nowadays, the mode of physical education should be changed from passive position to active position so that the teacher-guiding and student-based mode can be formed. This mode is integrated into the quality-oriented education.The author thinks that the concept of Health First helps us cultivate more intellectuals of healthy body and phycology for our country.
