| Abstract: | GKSS Research Center is one of 16 German National Research Centers, jointly funded by the Federal Ministry for Education, Science, Research and Technology (90%) and the Federal States (10%). Some 800 employees including graduate students, postgraduates, visiting scientists and trainees, in addition to a permanent staff of 480 are based in Geesthacht near Hamburg and Teltow near Berlin. The principal areas of investigations are: materials research, environmental research and separation technology. |
