| Abstract: | The nano-composite coating technology is the front field in the development of surface engineering. And at the same time, dry machining has been considered as one of the important developing directions of metal cutting in the future. The present status and developing tendency of nano-composite coating technology are summarized and its new applications on cutting tools used in dry machining are introduced. |
