基于硬件的二阶插值单精度函数近似

最简单的初等函数实现方法是查找表，但其只有与简单算术操作相结合才可实现精度的函数近似；在介绍已有同类研究后，文章提出了一种基于二阶插值的改进查表计算结构，所需查表后的算术操作数据宽度低，不仅减少常数存储ROM面积，并且改善了系统总延迟，此固定结构可结构所有的初等函数的近似查表。

Hardware Approximation of Single Precision Elementary Function with Second Order Interpolation

The sim plest function implementation is look-up table.Combined with simple arithmetic operation,look-up table can also be applied in single precession function app roximation.Had introduced other same research,a modified look-up table archit ecture based on second order interpolation was proposed in this paper.The modif ication reduces the constant ROM area,decreases the total delay,and requires l ow precession arithmetic operation.The unified architecture can implement all t he single precision approximation of elementary function.
