Excavation Construction Of Primary and Secondary Underground Pumping Stations of the YRDP

The primary and secondary pumping stations of the YRDP are underground houses,they contain over 120 caverns which are of numerous types,varying specifications,and of overhead crossing,criss cross,and complication in layout.The construction organization design,construction procedure and construction method for cavern excavation of the pumping stations are illustrated in this paper.As the construction schedule had been rationally arranged,and as the construction quality guarantee and safety production system had been set up,and further,which were improved and carried out effectively at the same time,the disturbance each other in construction was decreased,the construction progress was quickened,the construction task of cavern excavation was perfectly accomplished according to the plan.Consequently,the construction quality has reached the standard specified in the contract through checking before checking acceptance.
