| Abstract: | This paper analyses a kind of triangle net obtained from 3D triangulation of scattered data points. Although some triangular patches overlap with other patches in the net, consistent triangle net without overlapping can be obtained from it through optimization. This kind of triangle net could be named as general consistent triangle net. This paper expatiates on the feature and optimizing algorithm of general consistent triangle net, and shows the results of some practical application. |
