Abstract: | A study is made of computational methods for predicting the performance of cylindrical catalyst particles in reactions with nonlinear kinetics. Accurate two-dimensional collocation solutions are obtained and used to test simplified solution methods. A novel parametric integration method is used to traverse the region of multiple solutions. The local stability of several states is determined. |
