基于FPGA的Laplace边缘检测算法设计与实现

摘    要:针对目前数字图像处理速度普遍不足的问题,基于System Generator软件,在Xilinx的xc7z020-1 clg484型FPGA上设计了一种以Laplace图像边缘检测算法为核心的图像边缘检测系统.系统采用模块化的设计方法构造了缓存器模块、边缘检测模块和图像二值化模块,并使用Vivado软件成功进行了仿真与实现.实验结果表明,该设计的处理速度快、效果好.

Abstract:In view of the currentSdigital image processingSspeedSproblems,the method is proposed for implementing Laplace edge detection on the FPGA chip-xc7z020-1clg484 based on System Generator software, The system is composed of the buffer module, the edge detection module and the image binaryzation module and it is succeed in emulating and realizing by Vivado software. Takin a 37KB image, assuming the clock driver source is 100MHz, the system needs 0.738228ms to complete the process and can process 1250 images per second. It solves the speed problems and provides a new method of realizing the complex algorithm on FPGA.
