| Abstract: | The accurats measurement of the transfer function is uital to the esti- mation of the system modal parameters.The use of the single input met- hod to measure the transfer function can be replaced by the multiple input method.The results of this approach provide the travsfer functions that are comparable to the single input are but with a reduction in the time required per measurement and also an improvement on the shortcoming and uneven of the excitation vibrating energy for a large structure using single input method. A method is introduced by using the multiple input random excitation to analyse the system transfer function.A way using multiple input random excitation completely coherence to calculate the transfer function has been derived.As an example,a shaft is tested to compare with these two met- hods. |
