The Automatic Cutter Withdrawal Device for the Thread Machining

In order to solve the difficulties of the tool withdrawal during the thread machining under the high speed condition, an automatic cutter withdrawal device for thread machining was developed. This paper has described the design parameter, structure characteristic and the manufacturing requirement of this device, which shows that this device will not only used for the thread machining but also for the shaft step machining.
